-Sounds a little crazy....but we purchased something from a seller. I politely mentioned that the item was not as described and could we work on a compromise......o.k. Anyway, he told me to stop complaining and that he would ruin my feedback by bidding on one of my items, winning, and then giving me a negative on my 100% and 5 stars all around. He did this before I could block him. He was fast. I now have 95% and less than 5 stars in all categories. I refunded his money...(he hadn't even paid before I reported him to ebay and tried to get rid of him)....It's a game that he is/was playing. All I really want to know it........when you refund someone's money on ebay....can they send it right back to you and keep the ball rolling.......I blocked this guy........I want to get rid of him.......he's a seller's worst nightmare. Thank you,Did this conversation take place through eBay or strait from email to email? If it was sent through eBay and you kept a copy in your inbox in my eBay then you have proof of what he is doing. You can complain to eBay and possibly get him removed if you kept the proof.
IF eBay bans him he will find it difficult but not impossible to start up a new account. If he does manage to start a new account he can do it again. Since this guy sounds like a nut case it may be better for you to simply start up another eBay account to sell on that he doesn't know about. You can use your same PayPal account. I believe PayPal allows you to link up to 6 eBay accounts to it. The only thing that you will need different is a different email address for the new account, (and of course a completely different ID for the new eBay account). As far as the new ID goes make sure it's not too close to your current one so he doesn't catch on and realize it's you.
Fruitcakes have a bad habit of not letting go. With a new eBay account he will figure he won out over you when in fact you will be selling with a different ID.
