-I want to start earing money, as any teenager does, but can't get a real job like at a store till I'm 15 or 16. More money or more time?
-Well, I'm going to college soon in a big city. And, I'm set to move into my apartment on the 15th of August. What I'm wondering is when I should quit my job in my current city. I want to quit no earlier than the 29th of July but no later than the 4th of August. The 29th is the last day that I could work that would go into the paycheck of the following week and the 4th is the payday for that week. Those are the two days I'm looking at right now. Should I have a whole two weeks to get everything together (Securing a new job, getting furniture, etc.) or should work longer and get maybe a hundred or so more dollars?
Also, there's one other thing that is influencing my decision: If I quit by the 29th, I'll be able to go camping with my family for their big trip of the summer. Often, more than what you know about yourself. Everytime you click that 'Like' button on Facebook, it is stored in their database. So now facebook knows what you like, your interests, where you go, where you live, your age, and tons of things.... Google, saves your web browsing data on their servers and also your e-mail if you use Gmail. So they scan all of your data and keep it, so that they know who you are and use this data to sell you things and etc. They know everything about you.

While we can direct bill our airline flights through our company travel agency, we cannot do the same with hotels. (I assume this is because there are only about 4-6 airlines we could use, and thousands of hotels we could possibly stay at all over the country, and to set up some sort of 'direct billing' between the company and any hotel we could possibly stay at throughout the country- would be a huge undertaking).

Why do Virgin Media charge to send me a bill?
-through the post, when they send me at least 1 spam letter a week offering me goods and services I do not want.

The charge for the paper bill has now gone up again to 拢1.50 a month and the phone line has increased to 拢12.99.Virgin are taking great liberty's with long term customers to give great benefits to new ones. Their services are now quite appalling too,customer services are practically nil.
The only thing to do other than changing providers is to manage our bills online in future.

-I didn't realize it but I get charged $6.00 for Safety Insurance to send me my bill every month. I called the MA division of insurance and asked them why and the answer they gave me was BECAUSE THEY CAN. I never realized it. I think it's GREED, for lack of a better term. The electric company doesn't charge $6 to send you your bill, no companies do. If the insurance companies can, don't you think everybody will start doing it? It has to be stopped. Where do I go to find a way to have this practice stopped. I pay the thing over the internet. The woman at the insurance agency said the only way you can avoid this is to pay in full because if you owe money, they have to send you a bill.

'Earn 6 to 80 Pounds an hour part-time through paid online market research' are these things legit?
-So I'm looking to earn a bit more money... there are a lot of sites like gumtree that advertise these online research jobs... does anybody know if these are actually legitimate?
I'm worried that they're just some sort of scam.

I received a postcard saying court-ordered legal notice,its about bank of america settlement.have anyone?
-received this postcard, its said if you paid overdraft fees to bank of america,that you maybe eligible for a payment from a class action settlement, is it this a scam, they said that i will recieved money ,basically suing bank of america. i don't want to be part of this what should i do? do i have to come to courtI just received this postcard in the mail today as well. I looked up the site and tried looking for any indications that this may be a scam elsewhere. It seems pretty legit so far. The only reason you'd want to opt out is if you plan on suing B of A yourself, which is something I don't plan on doing. If you do nothing, you apparently have the chance to receive account credit or cash payment in compensation for any "wrongful" charges which, I think means that any payments you used with your card caused you more overdraft fees that were supposed to happen. It's still a little hazy to me but I don't think I plan on doing anything about it - I especially don't plan on going court for any of this.There definitely is a real class-action case pending against Bank of America regarding overdraft fees, so this probably isn't a scam. Basically, a small group of Bank of America depositors who were charged wrongful overdraft fees sued Bank of America on behalf of ALL B of A customers who were charged wrongful overdraft fees, and they settled the lawsuit with Bank of America. Under the terms of the settlement, Bank of America must pay EVERYONE who was charged wrongful overdraft fees.
There is no need for you to appear in court, because your interests are being represented by the people who actually filed the lawsuit against Bank of America. At this point, as a class member, you essentially have two options:
Option 1: Do nothing, in which case you will be paid in accordance with the terms of the settlement (assuming the court approves the settlement).
Option 2: "Opt out" of the class (the postcard you got should tell you how -- it's a matter of filling out a form and mailing it in). -Sounds a little crazy....but we purchased something from a seller. I politely mentioned that the item was not as described and could we work on a compromise......o.k.
